If your DAW usage lies almost entirely in the piano roll I don't think you'd regret going with FL Studio.Ībleton Live is better at live recording whether that be with a MIDI keyboard or a microphone and in my opinion the workflow is overall much faster, efficient, and intuitive than FL Studio. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I've read many "Ableton Live vs FL Studio" and I've used both DAWs for a long time so here is my opinion.įL Studio is better at MIDI, it's piano roll is much better than Abletons, every plugin that comes with FL Studio has individual note pan and glide supported in the piano roll, and I also quite like the note strum, arpeggiator, flam, etc features that are inside the piano roll and I've never really found anything equivalent to them in any other DAW's piano roll. ![]()
